As above please. Has ANYONE in the history of this forum ever bought and fitted the proper saxo kit car super 1600 arch kits? I'm basically looking at the maxi equivialnt but for a saxo without turning it into a chav car! Want bigger arches like the touring cars, then get citroen sport suspension to widen the track etc. Pics would be greatly appreciated too. Also can you fit these arches to a saxo:

These are the rally ones i;m on about:

Basically I was just kind've toying with the idea... I fancy a wide arch saxo but not sure how it would look in alll black? The only other idea is getting the arches fitted and the front and rear bumpers, then getting the whole car sprayed white. Then 16" Anthracite speedlines or something? I'll get up pics of the blue one on ebay from a while ago. They are small pics but the car looked cool as!

I have a contact in France that supplies Maxi parts. He has himself a 306 Maxi that he loans on rallies...I can get in contact with him if you are genuinely interested (drop me a pm)

As for the suspension, you are looking at £6k for the proper stuff but there are better solutions that don't have to comply to rules that will give you better handling.

Excellent stuff. So can you get things like the saxo challenge gear set up too (longer lever and rose jointed parts etc)
    Thanks

I'm thinking of doing this again to mine after the new engine is in..I wont be spending 3k+ on sus though..

I only need about 20mm each side with the Super 1600 kit and tbh hubcentric spacers will be perfectly adequate..

think bics has 'proper' front suspension and just a spaced out rear end. I couldnt' afford to spend 6k on suspension! The body kit will be a lot of dosh though i'd say. Then fitting etc.

Bic was going to get me his setup for a really good price at around £3500..He has a modified/longer stub axle on the back but has had to use small spacers..

The real kit cars have a spaced out back end and proper sus on the front but hubcentric spacers are perfectly fine..Safe as houses and strong, just may knock a bit of like off of wheel bearings but i have heard that hubcentrcs dont put much more stress on components..

yea i bet....I do love that blue one though above^ I'd just loose that twin exhaust and fit speedlines or summat.
