MK1 lights on MK2

   Went to fit the lights i bought off a member on here and they do fit but the inner bulb holders seem as though they have been smoothed off for some reasons so the bulbs keep on falling out.. and when the bulbs are in place for some reason it wont work.. do i need a whole new set of bulbs etc for a mk1?

   go to the scrappy or breakers for some bulb holders or may be better to get the whole lighting unit mate

   Cheers for the help buddy.. ffs i was informed i could use my original bulbs etc.. by any chance can you remove the bulb holders from your old lights? Have i been very silly? lol

   think it just unplugs then the bulb holder twists out mate, well thats how mine comes out

   my bulbs are on a rack that unclips then u can unclip tht from the wire loom! guessin we are talkin about rear lights|?? lol!

   Sorry about that its rear lights.. and mind i got em shitty lexus with the car jus bought standard mk1's to put on and no joy... will the silver bulb holders come out the lexus lights?

   Hmm i think i perhaps have been an idiot lol... there silver bulb holders in the originals.. they come out yeh? lol sorry bout this.

    Al have a deek tommorow see if i've made a mistake.. also i gonna have to jack the car up take wheels off to put my flaps on.. they will need cut aswell cos the exhaust is in the way .. gonna take me hours.

    The lexus lights bulb holder is different than standards,
    
    In the back of the mk1 lights you have is there a plastic thing with a socket for wires in one corner?

    Ehh no lol .. the electrics fit fine its just the bulbs dont sit in place etc.

    so u tryin to use the bulb holders from the lexarse lights?? cos they will be completly different!

    go a bit further up the lead and u'll find the adaptor, just unplug lexarse lights and bang em straight in, thats if you have the problem im thinking of !
