De-pin

  1. #1
Just went outside now to do it, and i couldn't even cut the friggin bar holding the pin! What do you use? I used the cutting end of the pliers.

I know i can undo the 3 torx's but cnt be bothered.

And also when i tried locking the car, the pin would go back

I wanted to depin my doors but didn't want to cause any problems with the central locking. Is it possible just to cut the pins off? Also broke loads of the white clips which hold the door cards on and had to buy some from shitroen they cost 28p each lol

cos my dad 5 pound for 14 door clips and 3 wheel arch liner clips!

doesnt affect the central locking at all mate.

i just used some pliers to cut mine and cut really easy no probs at all.

For anyone still trying to de-pin the door i just managed to do mine its so simple when you know how, hold the top of the pin against the door. then get hold of the bar inside the door just above the joint and pull it towards you, you should here a click, then just twist the pin and the bar should follow!!!

I was just wondering, how do you get out, if you've locked yourself in, and your central locking buggers up??
  24. #24
You wind the window down and climb out.....
  25. #25
theres more chance of someone thievein bastard tryin to break in than your central locking failing lol
