please don't use them stickers....looks tacky as hell! if your gonna do a job do it properly, isn't that right Yates

but its really not that hard to get them parts out at all. I recon i would get them off in a few mins now ive done it once before. was easy enough first time though.

anywa stickers will be on ebay and other online motor sport shops like larkspeed.com etc

Pred: did you just use normal car paint and laquer to re paint your dash. I painted my dash with foilatec strattos silver, but it looks a funny colour of silver in some light. Would like to do it again but needed to know if normal paint would stick?

just some automotive paint will do

only thing you have to do is use plastic primer and give the surface a good key(sand) for the primer to stick to

then about 4 coats of laquer, leave at least a week or else you risk fingerprints in the paint, actually your supposed to leave paint a good 5 days to fully harden

i get my paint from here

should i strip off all the foilatec 1st? or just rough it up a bit with a sanding?

honestly mate this is one of the easyest things you could do,if your not confident about the sprayin get a mate or someone that can spray to do it

most of the bits just pop off and the center console just 4 20s tx bits

i think theres a guide on here somewhere aswell, maybe for prem members only thoe,in witch case you will have to join the site to view it!

just take your time and you wont get runs too, stay a good foot away from the part your painting and dont overload it with paint etc

in the process of doing mine now, just doing the vents 1st before i risk the centre consol, looking good so far tho tbh i was a bit scared as im not a confident sprayer but its really easy.

this was one of the first mods i did to my saxo and it was abit daunting at first but easy as fcuk to do. if you mess it up just let the paint dry and rub it down and start again

being a spray painter myself ,if your doing little bits of your dash DONT use stickers.the little bits are the easyest bits mate.like said before,if it goes wrong then go to stickers but stay away from them for aslong as you can mate.
i done my dash in my old gsi corsa but mine had the wrinkle effect in which i wanted gone and i wanted it all smooth.
when i first done it and put it in alot of people thought it was way over the top..some liked it,didnt bother me as its each to there own.
i wanted to go different from, black, silver, red, ble. . so i went black with metalflake in lol

a few pics for abit of inspiration for you mate . .

i also had the heater vents redone in silver with a blue pearl in the lacquer
best of luck with it and keep us posted on how you get on
