help, how do i .......

  1. #1
this is prob a really silly question, but i just want to know if im doing this the non Irish way.......
Whats the best way to spray my saxo and citreon badges on my boot? And what do you guys find the best spray for the job is? I want to spray them black as im fitting black jewel tail lights and black angel projector headlights, so thought this would just finish the look off.

While im here can i just mention i got new alloys (street octane) to go with the black/silver theme.....so im selling my old wheels which are only six months old.
Have a look and if anyones interested pm me
    Jules x x

they have good tread left (nankang tyres on all four wheels 195/45/16)

There`s slight scuffing on two spokes on one wheel, others are as new,

    Thanks for looking x

best way is to t-cut them, takes a while and you get a sore thumb but looks nice. or u could paint them by taking them off the car and then using double sided trim stick tape to put them back on

    trim tape looks tacky tbh

    just tcut the badges

youll need the usual if you want to spray them

    primer
    paint
    laquer
    wet n dry

then people say use double sided tape to make them stick back on

But if i t-cut them wont i run the risk of damaging the paint aroung the badges, i dont want big t-cutted rings round my bagdes?? I know that sounds blonde!!!
How do i take the badges off???
  7. #7
youll be rubbing the badges not the boot so the boot paint wont get damaged

you simply just wash the t cut away when your badges turn black

is it as simple as rubbing it with t-cut, im wanting to do this too. but if t-cut goes on the paint work it wont fuck it up will it.

Use fine sand paper, like wet 'n' dry, and just keep rubbing the badges til you take the black off the badges!
