Gearbox Treatment

   Anyone seen the gearbox treatment stuff you can get from halfrauds?
   
   My gearbox crunches if over 6k revs 2nd to 3rd, someone i was talking said put some of this stuff in if the gearbox was sat around in a yard then i fitted it, but its got new oil in so i dont know how this stuff would work??
   
   Worth a try? personally i think the clutch needs adjusting a bit mroe

   No treatment for that problem. That's the synchromesh I'm afraid.

   I have same problem with my vtr if i do a quick change from 2nd to 3rd at 5,200rpm +
   
   So the resolution is dont rev so hard and dont change too quickly!

   looks like am calling people i got the gearbox off then
   
   Adjusting the clutch not help a bit?

   I can't see that being the case. It did it with my gear box, even when it wasn't that old...

   redline shockproof oil can help aid a fucked box.
