Saxo evolution ... 160 BHP ???

   Hi guys, right my mate who breaks saxo's has just picked up a saxo evolution... says it has 4 airbags, 160 bhp ... and wants to swap for mine its same reg and only 10k more mileage than mine, just wandering who has info about these ?

   I wouldnt sell my car, if i was i would took the 3250 i got offered three times :| but couldnt bring my self to sell it ... just wandering as i didnt think it was right considering its not even cammed....
   
   I suppose i could cam mine and have 160 bhp

   LAD special more like 140bhp with the mods they did

   Yea ive read a few threads about this before.... LAD have rather high hopes of there work.

   The quality of LADs work from what I have seen is good.. but comes with slightly optimistic power figures.

   the saxo evolution was made by LAD motorsport for a dealer or two as a special promotion.
   
   overhyped and over priced heaps of shite tbh.
   
   theyre not 160bhp by a long shot, usually in lads case it will have just breathing mods lol!

   Wouldnt trust it to be honest.
   
   Id at least want a copy of the original power figures from, we assume, LAD and 2 independant Rolling road readings to clarify the figure.

   Also further from the above comment, dont sell your car! Its mint. Cams and a remap with a few breathing mods will probably make the equivalent of LAD's actual figure (not what they say it is) anyway

    cams and a remap will make it about 20bhp over a lad figure lol

    lol- spend 18k on a VTS ur be looking at double that amount of bhp! (of course, if you knew what you were doing)
    Plain stupid, doubt they'll ever sell it... unless they knock off about 12k in a clearance sale.

    LADs work seems to work on the strip. ive seen a saxo with there head and standard cams running 14.6 1/4 miles, does it regularaly aswell.

    Mk2 VTS from 2001 onwards have 4 airbags as standard
