    Really wanted a red saxo so i could put chrome wings and more chrome all over it. Bought the wings anyway and just wired up the indicators the over day not the best pic, il post more when its back from being debadged.

    Thats the worst idea in the lnog history of bad ideas. Your chavving it up big time. Don't do it! Staying with standard mirrors but add mirror caps.

    just dont do it mate, i had chrom M3 mirrors before and god knows what i was thinking, just looks tacky leave the standards or put 106 ones on

    a mean you can get the paint stripped on the part and then the part chromed but will cost a lot and look crap im afraid, can also get chrome paint but again tacky and will cost a lot

    i think you should its something dif theres a sky blue 206 with chromed mouldings on the bumpers etc near where i live !! As i used to say to the misses when saxo's came out - thats an unusal mod lowered with tints you just dont see that often !!!!

    and preds thank goodness you've done everything to your so that you can tell us all our failings, the guy might be minted and can afford to replace stuff if it goes tits up !!!!!

    you can get those wing mirrors dude its not chavvy at all (its the people on heree with tunnel vision who have seen the same stuff all the time on cars for example go to the progress thread section look at the cars there 90% the same no individuality or originalilty what so ever but i respect there cars for it is theres and not mine) JUST DONT GET THEM IN CHROME LOL get them sprayed up same colour as your car will look more a part of the car then something you have just stuck on with glue lol.

    well i like chrome, call me a chav if u want. I saw this red classic mini copper with a chrome grill, arches and wings it looked amazing. If i could afford one Id get one too.

    By my calculations it should be around 120bhp from the chrome and then 24bhp from the 16v badges... so about 142bhp

    Im 20 but obviously liking chrome is childish thats why u asked common dont talk to me like that I mean for god sake your about 18ish you dad probably paid for your car or your student loan, and u got a pic of u in NY hat on side ways and you ripping into me for some mirrors. sigh!

    and that looks shitt because of the huge spoiler quad exhaust, huge wipers and cheap lexus lights, high suspension and ugly alloys and the chrome doesnt really suit that shade of red you have a point on that, but the filler cap looks good.

    u should not throw all that at people on here mate that was harsh we have all spent a while modding our cars and what have you i enjoy looking at others as to see if i like certain bits on my car or not if u like chrome mate then go for it everyone has there opinions and they just gave em i am sorry if u didnt like em but if u r 100% going chrome then go for it , I also have spent a lot of hard earned cash on buying and insuring cars lol first off i am 22 now and i bought as my collection a 1.2 renault clio p reg in black then

    i mean if people hate my saxo i dont care thats the way you gotta take it mate you cant expect everyone to like it im sure not everyone like mine with

    alloy fuel cap / new grill / twin exit exhaust / black led lights / black angel eyes but still everyone to there own i aint saying anything bad mate but just dont go ape at people for speaking there views if u personally like what your doing then go for it

    chrome in light s= 24bhp
    aeriel = 12bhp
    mirrors = 24bhp

    thats 180, i wont include wheels

    appears to be a vtr from interior and i can see rear discs i think, so thats 80

    so that cars pushing around 260bhp hannah, slightly out with your 140bhp

    no what he is stating is people instantly rip into others becasuse they have chrome on there car some chrome aint bad (as long as its in the right place and of course the colour suits it).

    but for some reason people rip into each other over the daftest of things.chrome was out on cars in the 60's so im assuing you think they are chavvy (tho back then the word was not even invented lol)

    im not a chav nowhere near it lol i wear timberland,wrangler,levi etc etc you tell me any chav that wears that.

    the problem is some people on here are to big for them selfs thinking i seen this on a saxo so that must be the scene and i must follow its perfetic that some people are gullable and just follow the crowd when they have there own mind and can make a choice for themselfs without having a huge argument/debate on does chrome look good or not.

    alot of members on here seriously need to grow up and respect other peoples property chav or not chav you dont see me goin into the progress thread and slatting everyones car you know why two reasons.

    1.its not my car to say its shit bla bla (i can voice my opnion but it does not mean i have the final say. the owner of the car does)but alot of members think they have the final say for some reason.

    2.most of them look the same anyways so you call one car s**t your basicly saying there all crap.

    to much chrome on any car is stupid tbh we live in the year 2007 not 1977.why you think most cars these days as standard have smoked front lights its called moving with the times.

    id love to see people on here face to face argue about the matters they talk about for most of them would end up in fights for they cant take the fact somone else likes something they dont.


    i respect everyone on here for they are who they are.some people have a good mind for a saxo as in technical side some people are just plain thick and some people act like they are the big i am tho they aint even a mod or part of the admin lol so your just like anyone else on here a member of sax-p freedom of speach is one thing but be-littling somone becasue they like something you may not like is just out of order.

    Yeh mini's suit chrome, but i can't see how a Saxo would suit it, like everyone is saying, at the end of the day its down to personal opinion. If you wanna go for chrome then go for it. Its a learning curve, if you don't like it, you ditch it.
