janspeed back box

   alrite every1 will a janspeed backbox off a mk1 vtr fit on my mk2 vtr???

   should fit on fine.
   rear boxes are the same dimensions irc for mk1 and mk2, just the front sections differ due to the manifold differences.
   
   ive got a mk2 with mk1 engine (pre change over) but hopefully a late spec owner will just confirm for me that theres is the same.

   ok cheers. just that my mate doesnt want his nomore and said i can have it for free so.... is janspeed a good make and is it loud? i think its a 3.5 or 4 inch not sure

   if its free have it, and try and fit it, im 95% sure it will fit but if its free its worth the risk of 5% lol!
   
   janspeed are an inbetween make, some of the VW boys love em.
   
   not heard em tbh, but a backbox alone shouldnt be to loud unless its a peco/cherrybomb rubbish lol
