Lots of ICE...need insurance!

Hey, im currently avin a pretty decent system installed in my car that is costin pretty much what the car cost me. just wunderin if anyone else has a lot of ICE in their car n wots the best way to go about insuring it?? cant see Citroen Insurance wantin to insure it all so any help plz??

im with tesco car insurance and it covers up to £1000 worth of In Car Entertainment. But i suppose you need to cover alot more than that ?!

Yeah, my Citroen Insurance covers 1000 as well...i need to add on another zero! £10,000...get pics up on ere in about 6 weeks wen all the fibreglass is done etc. should be awesome but really need to find out bout insurance for it

£10k !!!!! wow, specialist insurance , ask around , even ask Citroen insurance and see what they say !

most places only allow in car entertainment systems worth upto £500 usually so you will have to phone around and ask and see if they can help and if not if they know of any places that will insure you.

Pretty much all Lanzar...apart from the pioneer head unit! haha. well out cum the back seats n in goes 5 x Optidrive 1232D subs, each sub is runnin off a Lanzar VIBE1800D amp. got 1 set of 5.25 components, 1 set of 6.5 and 1 set of 6.5 coaxials in custon door builds. all fibreglass n sprayed in black w/metal flake. plenty of neons. doesnt seem much for the money but by the time ive had the whole car sound deadend, a 50 farad power cap and a few gel cells to sun it all it all adds up. should be all quality once its finished...hopefully win sum competitions. the place thats doin it rekons shud be hittin close to 160 db!!

yes . probably a big nesesity (SP?) to have a VERY good alarm with all that lot!

get the power cap right to fuck save yourself the money and get another battery and a split charger i bet it will be a damn site cheaper and will work a hell of a lot better

Yeah got an alarm goin on as well...that was first on the list! will get pics asap, car has only been in a week n they say its gonna be another 5 weeks yet. i know the guys in the shop n my choice was either pay the 'normal' rate n they'd work on the car all day everyday or pay 'mates rates' n av to wait 6 f**kin weeks. hopefully they are right n shud av the car bak before xmas! haha. but no they're a gud shop if anyones from south wales n wants stuff done let me know. their other project is 32 DB Audio subs in a Focus! thats nuts u shud see the frame work in there
