Backbox Issue

    A up people
Right, about month n half ago i got a sportex twin backbox. I went to the garage to get it fitted and came back half an hour later with the exhaust below the bumper and slightly to the right of the original cut in the bumper, they said its the only place they could fit it and they couldnt get it any higher? They were ment to cut the bumper out and fit it in there! Anyone else had this problem? what should i do, cos filling the bumper and getting it sprayed will cost quite abit!

    Rep will be awarded

Well I would not have bought a sportex exhaust full-stop. Did you buy it from ebay? I asked about these a few months ago, they are crap. They may well have had no option as the fitting of these would probably be harder as they are quite cheap.

My advice is get rid of that box and buy yourself a better made one, like Magnex or Piper.

No got it from there website. Whats so crap about sportex backbox's? ive got a twin 3" slash cut, it looks mint and sounds mega. Thats all i wanted from it. Performance wise, its jus a backbox. The centre section and manifold is where i am gonna get the power gains from, so i dont see whats wrong with it, apart from its sitting low. I may have to get a dimma splitter? What you lot reckon?
