How-to upload pictures to use on the forum

    I recently got chatting with a member of these forums who was selling his car on these forums aswell as on pistonheads, But there were many members still asking for pictures for ease of use so heres a small but informitive guide on how to attach your lovely pictures to threads you post.

    Ok first off you will need your desired pictures on your pc idealing in a JPEG file (smaller kinda image type so folk can download n see the pretty pics faster and less hassel for all) most mobile phone and digital cameras use this image type so u should be fine.

    Second step is u need somewere u can put ur piccys online i personally use http://imageshack.us/ but there are more out there u can use free of charge.

    other options are http://www.picoodle.com/ , http://photobucket.com/ , http://www.freeimagehosting.net/ and plenty more out there if you have a look.

    for this guide i will use http://imageshack.us/ for ease of use and you will be greated with this page below


    This page you want to click the "Browse" Button so u can select the file you want to put on the net for others to see, Below i selected file "1.jpeg"

    when i found the files u want to use u hit the "OK" button and then your greeted with this page

    Now its time to click that lovely "Host It" button and let it do its thing wait a few mins at most and should have uploaded your picture and give you this messy page here

    Now this is a VERY importent part all these boxes had bits you need to copy and paste into these forums just like you type.

    For saxperience forums to be nice you want to ideally use the box that says "Thumbnails for forums (1)" gives u wee cool thumbnails like on this thread so people get a good idea what they look at and can look at the full size pictures if they wish.

    into the quick reply message box on here that you are using to reply to me though! it will show up as numbers and letters when you paste it into the message box but once you have pressed submit the then shows it as a picture!

    you upload it to photobucket, then use the image codes, its the one that starts [ IMG] and ends [/ IMG] just without the space.

    For saxperience forums to be nice you want to ideally use the box that says "Thumbnails for forums (1)" gives u wee cool thumbnails like on this thread so people get a good idea what they look at and can look at the full size pictures if they wish.

    Also premium members take a look here for details on how to take advantage of your sax-p photo hosting service, but remember its only for use within the sax-p forums http://www.saxperience.com/faq/faq-site.php

    Flickr is the best out of all of them.
