   i understand that a encolsed induction kit, full de-cat exhaust, 4-2-1 man, and re-map goes to adding to your bhp.
   
   what else can you do to increase the hores under the bonet? new cams?
   any1 know where ot buy them?
   anything else?
   
   let me know some of your idea's please??

   after those mods yes cams would be the next choice but a remap isnt needed untill after the cams are put in

   piper cams or cat-cams get the vote on saxp from every thread ive seen

   Its Cam on a Vtr as it only has one!
   
   Other options forced induction (turbo, super, compound charged)
   Nitrous
   16v Transplant
   Headwork
   
   Upgraded brakes are good as is weight loss from the car!

   halfrauds is usually full of clueless fuckers and normally over priced, bar supersprint centre sections, and they also sell some good gear most of it is shite.
   
   Only really good if like paying over price for alloys, and for buying I.C.E (overpriced normally) and cleaning gear (when they do the 3 for 2 offer)
   
   Oil is a total rip off aswel. as wel as car parts e.g oil filters and mainly they never stock the easiest of car parts. and thats not a shitty small halfrauds either.

    he asked for a simple answer poping down the local halfords should be easier than trying via maindealer thats all i said i never said halfords are amazing or nout christ

    one phone call to a main dealer, who has all the info to get you the correct cam choice for what you want out of the engine? or speak to a spotty faced goon who doensnt even know what a camshaft does?

    Strip to save weight first...
    
    Better brakes and suspension so you can put power down
    and handle better
    
    Breathing mods like a full exhaust, manifold (heat-wrapped) induction kits (enclosed are only ones to go for imo)
    
    And then cams before re-mapping

    on topic, there is a group buy going on for newmans cams mate get in on that we will get them cheap as chips, cheaper than a local store or halfrauds.
