Do you need to relocate oil filter on a mk2 vts with Raceland mani?

    Hi i have browsed but couldn't find a clear answer, i have a mk2 52 plate VTS and was curious do you need to relocate the oil filter like the VTR or will it go straight on?

    I found loads about the VTR but not much about the VTS.

    Going try do it today hope to here some answers!

    think vts will be same prob as vtr only need the mk1 filter and the part to allow you to use the filter

    where do i get these parts from? will Citroen sell them?

    this is from the thread for 1.4 and vtr
    you will need confirmation as to weather it is the same for vts as im not sure

    The MK1 Oil Filter - 1109N3 @ £2.95 excl VAT
    Big Bolt for attaching manifold to gearbox - 210314 @ £1.87 excl VAT

    Go and look in your engine bay!
    If your oil filter is a metal can you'll be fine!

    Looks like it will be fine found some quick answers with some looong searching, the oil filter is a metal can pointing towards the front bumper.

    mk1 and mk2 vts use same exhaust manifold design as std basically, unlike the 8vs so shouldnt have any problem as the engine wasnt really changed.

    All VTSs use normal oil filters.

    i have an 03 VTS with raceland, only problem was the tight fit of the bolts.

    ye ul be fine m8, only furios and mk2 vtr's are trouble
