Yeh, if you set the bottom end to TDC, and the head to TDC, then once you put them together, and put the cambelt on they will both be at TDC.

There is a small hole in the front of the block, if you stick an allen key (5mm iirc) into the hole and push it in with light pressure, turn the bottom end over until you feel the end of the allen key click in a groove in the flywheel, effectively locking off the bottom end at TDC.

With the head, rotate it until the holes in each cam pulley match up with the two holes in the side of the head. Put a drill bit or bolt in each one, and this will lock the head at TDC.

Now you will be ready to assemble it all back up.

Once re-assembled turn the engien over a few times, I always then re-try to lock the bottom end and the head at TDC to double check the timing is all okay. If the allen key locks the bottom end and the holes line up on the head then your all okay.

Cylinder 1 has to be at TDC on the block

theres a locking hole for that

btw, cylinder is at the gearbox end on these engines.
