Is it safe to Remap??

   hey guys, i drive a saxo vts. Had it only a couple of weeks but here goes. It has Viper induction kit with bumper inlet, Dual side exit straight through system and as far as mechanical modding thats as far as it goes. Now i want some more horses to pull her along (dont we all), so i was thinking of a re-map. Im not savvy with these things though so is it safe to do so on the pretty much standard engine or will i need to upgrade here and there.

   you wont necessarily need a remap with just those mods to be honest. I'd add a set of cams, ad a 4-2-1 , then get it remapped accordingly. Will see far better gains.
