spraying chevrons???

    ok so far i have smoked rears and black badges.

    planning on smoking my fogs tomorrow and spraying my chevrons black.

    fist of all wat is your opinion on black chevrons on a silver car?

    secondly is it just a case of sand the chevrons, 2 coats primer, 3-4 coats of black spray, 4+ coastd of laquer??

    Yeah thats correcet way of spraying mate and yes black looks cool on silver cars, smoked look looks great

    dont think it would look weird with the black mesh then?

    just dont want it too drak on the grill if ya get wat i mean.

    I done my grille with black mesh but kept the chevrons silver but seen a few with black chevrons and looks smart, thinking of doing mine black now but cant be assed to take the grille off to get the chevrons off lol.

    do they not just pop out with a flat head screw driver

    lazy as... 2 minute job to pop the grill out anyway

    Not sure tbh, when i took the grille off to mesh it it, the chevrons were clipped on and i had to fiddle about with them to get them off and were a bloody tight fit when i pushed them back in too.

    If there simple to get off then ill spray them up, just dont want to break them off lol.

    or you could just get a dimma grill

    They just pop off, literally 2 seconds to get them off

    Use a thin flat head screw driver and just pry them off, then they just clip back on
