I'm in need of some urgent help guys!

My car current has not off side front suspension as i'm in the process of changing over the inserts!

I'm taken the shock off but now unable to undo this bolt!

Can anyone suggest a tool to use? Tryed a ring spanner and the little hex thingy on top but won't budge!!!

Mate they are tight as f**k, you need a decent t40 torx bit and a ring spanner and twist them opposite ways but use plenty of wd40 or maintanence spray, put the t40 on a decent rachet and try and get someone to help you cus there mega tight, i got my mate to push the ring spanner one way and i pushed the rachet the other way, it was so tight it made a snapping sound when it released and thought it was my torx bit but it was the shear tightness of it.

I tried a normal torx bit and shattered it within a couple of tries so i would recommended a titanium bit as there really strong and perfect fit, last thing you want to do is round the spline off.

For safety and because it will mate it alot harder to undo. WE managed to undo mine ok but not my mates car we had to heat the bolt up until it was glowing red to undo it as it seized maybe you need to try this but very careful

Thanks for the help guys! Just spent the last hour or so on the n/s shock!!!! We used the right tools and two spring claps

Ended up using a chisal and hammer to cut the nut off!!!! The o/s was so much easier! Still tight as fook mind!

All done now anyway Fixed the horrable knocking sound when turning left! Been doing my head in ever since Mike sold her to me lol!

    Evidence of spring clamps

I think the n/s has a shorted drive shaft as we pulled it the same way as the o/s and the fecking drift shaft fell out the gear box! Oil went everywhere! The nastiest smell ever!

But a bit of cat litter and bob's your uncle
