oil filter relocation on silver top engines

    hey guys, im aware this has probably been covered a million times, but can anyone explain to me what i need, and how to go about doing it please?

    why do you want to relocate it?

    If its to fit a manifold like the Raceland to a mk2 VTR then the cheapest option is to fit a mk1 oil filter and thread and tap the hole in the block.. give me a moment and I'll have the part numbers you need

    # Oil filter insert - Citroen part number 1103A7
    # Mk1 Oil Filter - Citroen part number 1109N3
    # M10 Tap
    # M10 Screw (to block oil return hole)

    wot silvertop engine do you have? 90 or 98 bhp? does it actually need relocating?

    am i right in saying only the 2001 98bhp models require the oil filter to be removed? pretty sure my model (W reg) is fine..for fitting a manifold?

    ive got the 98bhp model mate. i put a mark 1 type manifold onto mines thats why i changed the oil filter. but what are you trying to do to yours. fit a 4branch manifold?

    yea its 4 branch mani onto a 2001 vtr, with the insert style filter as aposed to the the cartridge style. cheers for the part number kam!
