Which induction?

  1. #1
I was planning on buying an axhaust for my furio but im a bit short so i was wondering which induction kit would be best?

The noise doesnt really bother me that much, although I wouldnt mind a little crispness.
    Any suggestions?

    BMC CDA

Or the DIA, cant be too much difference performance wise

    panel filter in standard airbox.

    raceland FTW!

raceland if you want a bit of noise tbh.

other than that i prefer the bmc cda

get a bmc cda matey i got one last week, fitted it and its great.
can tell the difference as soon as you set off.
these are better for performance wich i wanted.
not any noise difference but if you want it for that dont get this but if you want performance get one.

Yeh i was looking at them viper ones. Are they better cos there you can get them specific for saxos? Arnt the bmc ones universal? And are they the ones with the carbon looking thingy, I think my dad had one on his r32 and it looked a beaut.

nah the bmc are not just universal

    www.kam-racing.com

find the right one for your car

    Don't get a pipercross viper.

Simply because for the money you can get a lot more. They're probably good kits, but i can't justify paying £200 for an induction kit.

Raceland with the green filter (essential) from Kam Racing imo... followed by the BMC.

The bmc cda and dia are certainly not universal i dont think and indeed designed for the saxos, im not speaking from experience but from what ive heard they are one of the best fitting around. Certainly much better than the raceland which apparently you have to do abit of faffiing about with to get to fit.

Having said that the raceland is still very good and the price is very good to!

in order of best to worst imo it goes....

    1. Pro-Comp OR Streamline Carbon replica
    2. Raceland enclosed with Green filter
    3. BMC CDA (iirc this is the bigger of the carbon 2)
    4. BMC DIA
    5. raceland with std airfilter

panel filter replacement is shite as system itself is restricted badly!!

    hope this helps

Have you tried all those out??
Im in the same boat too tryin to decide...i like the look of the BMC CDA more than the raceland but the raceland+green is cheaper!!

And the battle of white one is best continues lol

at the end of the day most of the enclosed enduction kits will give similar gains in performance with small differences (nb as long as they have a good air feed esp important for BMC)
Big difference in filter quality though and the Green and BMC are at the top of their game in this regard.

Just go with one that fits your budget (although the standard raceland has a poor filter!)

Got a BMC CDA myself, and very pleased

nope ive not tried any of them but i am on the forums a lot and on ssc we do discuss things like this to death!!!

the raceland + green and BMC CDA are extremely familiar performance wise but since the raceland anf green is cheaper i would personally go for that!

    this is what i have
