They will be fine, they give out alot of dust but the performance is where you need it!

is that link for everything you need?

as in for 4 disk brake's??

    yeah i think so mate,

yeah i have mintex front pads and discs, they are pretty good for standards

What you want is EBC turbo drilled and grooved disks and mintex 1144 pads. Awesome stopping power and a popular choice for many high spec cars, not just saxos.

there's no point in getting drilled and grooved really. they are more prone to cracking and warping.

standard brembo discs and m1144's are what i swear by

Well at least we agree on the pads, but I can't see your logic with regard to the EBC discs?

Providing you get enough heat into them they perform really well and with the 1144 pads combine to give plenty of bite.

Many exige s owners over on the lotus forum swear by them especially for fast-road use. EBC + 1144 or EBC + yellowstuff pads work very well. For track use I can't really comment but for road use the aforementioned are ideal.

I dont trust the drilled/groved combo either. had a couple of mates warp them! rather just stick to the solids tbh

quoting from the hi-spec catalogue i have right in front of me...

plain rotors - the most economical disc finish option - plain rotors are more resistant to cracking and warping

groover rotors - improves heat dissipation and reduces gas build up on disc and pad surfaces allowing cleaner contact areas. help with continuous pad deglazing, recommended for heavy braking and track use

cross drilled rotors - improves heat dissipation and reduces gas build up on disc and pad surfaces allowing cleaner contact areas. under strenuous circumstances are more likely to crack than grooved or plain rotors.

combi rotors (grooved and drilled) - a more visual effect for show cars, the combi finish combines the benefits and weaknesses of both the grooved and cross drilled discs.

Got these on the rear of my vts and they do the job well enough. Dont notice much brake dust either.

i find mintex pads the best!#
    good value for money!

but double vented discs are a good combination for them!
helps stoping preformance and looks the part

I always go for disks with as fewer grooves as possible.. and then a quality pad
  17. #17
ive got them on mine and they are really good. mine are a little squeaky though...
