   the drive shaft has just snaped of on my saxo 1.1 forte ans thewas some kind of oil splattered round the wheel n a big chunck of metal on the floor that had come off the car, is it a big job and how much will it cost?

   if only the shaft has gone then its not hard to fix. the cv end can be a bitch to remove from the hub tho. drop the ball joint, fit new shaft, put ball joint back then fill gearbox back up with oil. dnt forget the rubber seal on the gearbox end of the shaft.

   120 max should be. Not too much hassle

   forgot to say i got it done the day after for 120, so its sorted now, but sadly as i aint working im having to sell it and buy somthung cheaper, if anyones interested its in the forsale section btw, n its im good condition and been well looked after
