How hard is it to put a vtr engine in a vtr?like are the gearboxes the same?is it just a different head on the same bottom end?cheers

#4im going take it you meant a vts engine in a vtr.
just repeating wot ive seen on other threads but as i understand the vtr garbox is different from the vts grearbox.
the vtr box will work with the vts engine but will be slower acceleration.
basicly vtr gearbox = top speed vts gearbox = acceleration. -

could you put that VTS gearbox in a VTR and acheive around 8-8.5 seconds 0-60?? -
#7confused about gearboxes but went out with dbsax in his westy with a vts box on it and it pinns you in seat on acceleration but he says in 5th say on motorway itle rev higher thatn stock westy ?
