standard vts manifold on a vtr?

  1. #1
will a standard vts manifold fit a 2003 vtr and will it give any performance increase?
also if i fit cams, remap, manifold, full exhaust system and induction kit what bhp will i be looking at?

    cheers

no, the 16v and 8v manifolds as standard are different. Also, if its mk2 vtr your planning on fitting it to, you would possibly have a problem refitting the lambda sensors even if it did fit, as the vts catalyst is under the car not in the manifold.

    No............

Am I correct in thinking that it will be better to fit a manifold of a single plug ECU VTR because that way the car will be de-catted and get extra throttle response/power etc?

Yes but you will more than likely have problems passing an m.o.t.

Yeah I know it wont pass the emissions test but I was just saying.

The questions is will a MK1 manifold fit a MK2?

yes, physically apart from it only has 1 lambda sensor hole
