    There is good news.

There was news today when a bonnet lamp pod arrived from the U.K.

However, I was not able to buy the lamp because there was not money.

What is installed seems to become it quite earlier.

Very nice Saxo! You should strip out the rest of the seats, if you dont need them, so the car is lighter! And as said already, its interesting to say the least that the Japanese are interested in French cars!

Really good to hear of people as far away as Japan have an interest in Saxo's and 106's..

Really never imagined them blending in with the Jap car scene but thinking about it now a Saxo in Japan must be really good!

If your ever after any parts which you can't get in Japan make sure you check out the for sale thread on here. I'm sure people wouldn't mind posting parts to Japan as long as they aren't too large

    Sorry, Freg. I overlooked it.
You found it well! Though such small!

Japan has only a left-hand drive by the regular import Keep to the right of the road.
Why is not it a right-hand drive Keep to the right of the road?
As for it, there is a reason for an air-conditioner.
When it makes it a right-hand drive, the reason is because an air-conditioner is not turned on well.
Because I am not popular if there is not an air-conditioner, Japan imports it as a left-hand drive unwillingly.

I changed yesterday's Sunday, a crank pulley for a lightweight it.

    Normal Weight

    Lightweight

The response is such a feeling.

    Normal

    http://s646.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=bd35c50b.flv

    Lightweight

    http://s646.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=a5641661.flv

There was a few it, but the response of the accelerator improved.

I change it without changing a belt.

It is easy, I am recommended.

    Hi, Dboy!!
There is a lot of information, this site serves as a reference very much.
There are not much 106/SAXO parts in Japan.
Therefore I import the parts wanting from the U.K.
The postage is expensive, it is serious……

When I excluded a number plate before, I felt very unsatisfactory.

    How? Are you unsatisfactory?
A strawberry does not seem to put on the shortcake of the strawberry.

Therefore, like a European rally car, I stuck the number on the body.

But I have been already used.

I left you unattended for a while.
Japan became gradually warm, and it was a good season to work.

Recent modi attached under guard. However, processing is necessary because oilpan guard is Peugeot 106 use.

I was able to attach the tank guard without processing.
But I must opened six holes in a floor.

By the way, it was a lamp pod, I was completed to the painting.

Because I painted by oneself, the finish is not so clean.

    After work, I ate ramen.

Is there the ramen in the U.K.?

My hobby is to run in the night forest road.
Because I am insufficient with the normal light, a big lamp is necessary.

In addition, I can approach rally Car a little because I love a rally.

Japan is easy to live in place.
As for the working hours, it is different by a company.
However, I think a big company to be able to take a rest well on Sunday on Saturday.
What kind of company do you want to work in?
    The meal is delicious, too.
But it may be some unpleasantness for a Briton because it is hot and humid in the summer.
If there is a place to be worried about, please ask me a question. But it is in easy English!

Japan may be surely tighter than the U.K. because a country is small.
But the inner city is best as for it.
You dont have to worry about the suburbs like that.

By the way, the local(Nagoya City) rent fee that I live is around 660 £ from 330 £(one month).
The parking lot is around 130 £ from about 66 £.

It is sure that it is custom as you say.
Because all the car enthusiasts do it happily in Japan!
By the way, what kind of feeling is the Japanese image?
My friends want to know it!

I got my SAXO in a specialized shop. It is a very good shop.

    Why did I choose SAXO?
    The reason is FUN!!!!!!!
And I chose SAXO because I liked rallies.
It is important that the car is light! It is lightness than the power!

if you mean feeling as in reputation it is something like this:

    - very hard working, in fact people work too hard
    - crazy dress sense
    - very busy lives
    - they love motorsports
    - very interested in western culture

thats my opinion though, i have been watchin a video on youtube with someone living shibuya, tokyo and its definitely intersting. i would like to find out more on the outer suburbs where people live in homes rather than apartments.

oh and by the way the weather doesnt affect me, i have been to the far east and humidity is fine hope you can make it to a british car show sometime.

I am very interesting what kind of image a Briton owns in Japan.

    - very hard working, in fact people work too hard
→The Japanese may surely work too much.
However, I think than the tendency fades little by little recently, too

    - crazy dress sense
→Hahaha! Will it be a fashion of youths of Shibuya?
It may be so in the inner city.

    - very busy lives
→Surely. Because a country is small, there is no help for it.

    - they love motorsports
→This is slightly wrong. there is the enthusiastic fan, but most Japanese are not interested in motor sports.

    - very interested in western culture
This is right! Japan is interested in Europe culture very much from the defeat World War II.

Is it so? Have you come to Japan before?
    Then I am reliable.

Thank you. I understand this English.
It is just what you say.
This wheel is popular very much in Japan (However expensive……)
I was very lightweight and was very cool!

I love them wheels, can't believe they are on a saxo. We have an exhaust here that is made for racing and is like a rally exhaust. Would be good for your car, hope this helps tochka

Is not TE37 sold in the U.K.?

The exhaust system of my SAXO is a CSC center pipe and devil silencer now.
Does the supersprint make a good sound?
    I want it if so.
(I'm sorry. You demand it; may not answer)
  306. #306
go on www.youtube.com and search for - gr n saxo - and you will see lots of videos with similar exhausts, I'm sure you will like

TE37 are sold in the UK but only ever fitted to japanese cars, never on a saxo, I really want some

I searched it. It is sound good all!
It is become such a sound if SAXO change a silencer into a super sprint?
Because the devil is a low tone, I long for a high-pitched sound.

Is it so? Offset 15, 4holes are surely special size.
At the Japanese auction, TE37 is sometimes exhibited.

Wow, thanks for the website, will have a good look at it. Glad you like the supersprint. I have it on my car and it sounds very rally like. Ask kam racing on main forum if they post to Japan, lol

As for this, degree looks good as you say.
Come to Japan and buy it at a time,
and how about bringing it into the U.K.? lol

Hope you are able to get a supersprint as you will love it. Have not found any TE37 wheels that fit a saxo here in UK, it's not good.
Wish I could afford to import them from Japan as I love them!!!!

I got my SAXO in a specialized shop. It is a very good shop.

    Why did I choose SAXO?
    The reason is FUN!!!!!!!
And I chose SAXO because I liked rallies.
It is important that the car is light! It is lightness than the power!
What reaction do you get from other people in your country about your car?

Do they like it or think you're crazy for not buying a Nissan/Toyota turbo car?!

    Hi, TonyA! Thanks, again.
Reaction? um……All the people liking rallies are said to be cool.
But say that the person who is not interested in a car is strange.lol
The turbocar of Nissan and Toyota is too high-powered.
I like I use up little power, and running.
But the turbocar of Nissan and Toyota is still popular in Japan.

    A Baby is born soon.
    Therefore I bought a stroller.

The decisive factor is a wheel.

To see this, can you image anything?

    It is this!

I made a wheel a speed line at once.

There were eight of them, I had a hard time to paint.

I think that the total form is cool.

I attached a pad of sabelt to the harness.lol

It is just good for a trunk of SAXO.

Thank you for comment. The lamp pod does a pitch-black mountain path in the day. It is very light. The style is popular among children.

There are many such people. SAXO is unpopular in Japan, but 106 is a still popular car model. Everyone are careful with all car very much.

    Thank you for worrying, everybody.
The town where I live in is a place leaving the stricken area more than 1,000km. Therefore there was not the damage.

However, the place where I suffered from by an earthquake spends days such as Hell.
The U.K. and the relief corpses from the other countries gather,
too, but the damage is serious.
Revival seems to considerably take time.

I worry about Japan, everybody, and thank you very much.
I did not think that I got comment so much.
    Thank you very much.

A nuclear power plant encounters the damage by this earthquake and radioactivity leaks out and becomes the big topic.

As for this, British Chief Scientific Adviser Sir John Beddington acted as a spokesman, and several nuclear power generation experts commented.

    -

The following is a summarized report from Mr. Tom Atkinson, a British
photographer, based in Tokyo. He has attended a press conference held at
the UK Embassy in Tokyo yesterday. FYI. Please share this with your family,
friends and colleges who is looking for some accurate information. Thank
    you, Yukiko Harada
    (report to follow)
I have just returned from a conference call held at the British Embassy in
Tokyo. The call was concerning the nuclear issue in Japan. The chief
spokesman was Sir. John Beddington, Chief Scientific Adviser to the UK
Government, and he was joined by a number of qualified nuclear experts based
in the UK. Their assessment of the current situation in Japan is as follows:
    * In case of a 'reasonable worst case scenario' (defined as total meltdown
of one reactor with subsequent radioactive explosion) an exclusion zone of
30 miles (50km) would be the maximum required to avoid affecting peoples'
health. Even in a worse situation (loss of two or more reactors) it is
unlikely that the damage would be significantly more than that caused by the
    loss of a single reactor.
    * The current 20km exclusion zone is appropriate for the levels of
radiation/risk currently experienced, and if the pouring of sea water can be
maintained to cool the reactors, the likelihood of a major incident should
be avoided. A further large quake with tsunami could lead to the suspension
of the current cooling operations, leading to the above scenario.
    * The bottom line is that these experts do not see there being a possibility
of a health problem for residents in Tokyo. The radiation levels would need
to be hundreds of times higher than current to cause the possibility for
health issues, and that, in their opinion, is not going to happen (they were
talking minimum levels affecting pregnant women and children - for normal
adults the levels would need to be much higher still).
    * The experts do not consider the wind direction to be material. They say
Tokyo is too far away to be materially affected.
    * If the pouring of water can be maintained the situation should be much
improved after ten days, as the reactors' cores cool down.
    * Information being provided by Japanese authorities is being independently
monitored by a number of organizations and is deemed to be accurate, as far
as measures of radioactivity levels are concerned.
    * This is a very different situation from Chernobyl, where the reactor went
into meltdown and the encasement, which exploded, was left to burn for weeks
without any control. Even with Chernobyl, an exclusion zone of 30 miles
would have been adequate to protect human health. The problem was that most
people became sick from eating contaminated food, crops, milk and water in
the region for years afterward, as no attempt was made to measure
radioactivity levels in the food supply at that time or warn people of the
dangers. The secrecy over the Chernobyl explosion is in contrast to the very
public coverage of the Fukushima crisis.
    * The Head of the British School asked if the school should remain closed.
The answer was there is no need to close the school due to fears of
radiation. There may well be other reasons - structural damage or possible
new quakes - but the radiation fear is not supported by scientific measures,
    even for children.
    * Regarding Iodine supplementation, the experts said this was only necessary
for those who had inhaled quantities of radiation (those in the exclusion
zone or workers on the site) or through consumption of contaminated
food/water supplies. Long term consumption of iodine is, in any case, not
    healthy.
The discussion was surprisingly frank and to the point. The conclusion of
the experts is that the damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami, as well
as the subsequent aftershocks, was much more of an issue than the fear of
radiation sickness from the nuclear plants.
Let's hope the experts are right!

That was a good read mate. Me personaly and i'm sure many others were lead to believe that the radiation was much more of a concern than described. Lets hope the natural side of things are over and done with and the experts know what they're talking about.
We complain over in the UK about our "terrible" weather. It is a shame we have to read about something like this for most of us to see that life isn't as dull as times like these in other countries.
It's good to know that you and your family are ok!

Thank you. Japan is thrown into confusion because of the problem of the nuclear power plant greatly. The argument of the unnecessary will happen in future whether a nuclear power plant is necessary. And I think that this problem is useful for the whole world.
It say that China does not make a new nuclear power plant. I will give big influence in future all over the world.

I make a lower grill mesh.

    I saw a lattice.

I put the inside with a black cutting sheet.

It seem to open a mouth and is a foolish face.lol

The mesh grill to use. It is made by aluminum.

I take the paper pattern in conformity to an opening and cut mesh. I make a logo with an illustrator and print it. I clip out a logo with a cutter. I paint it with spray afterwards.

attached to the lower grill with L type stay.

    Finished!!!!

I put on a speed line (15 inches) wheel.
Because there is not a carved seal to this wheel at all, it may be an imitation.
The model name "RL-7?" If there is a person knowing, please teach it.
Still, in the tire house of SAXO, front becomes vacant … … .

  551. #551
ah the rl7 is actually a raceline alloy tochka nothing wrong with it still a very good whell and over here its pretty rare the cars still looking anyway hows things in japan now and the family all good?
  552. #552
You are surely right. The brand called the race land is hardly known in Japan.
Because somebody looked like a speed line, someone would put such a logo.
    Thank you for teaching it!

Gav race line is the model speedline is the manufacturer hence rl in rl7
like speedline sl434 they are just different models of speedline

Raceline became speedline coarse as people didnt associate the company but it was another name for there more expensive alloys

race line are nothing to do with your wheels
race line are very bad and these wheels are beautiful

I remember your speedline alloys on the buggy for your child that was impressive attention to detail and it seems you pay the same details to your car

I see. It was studied. Thank you.
This wheel is a very good design.
The painting comes off, and the wheel of the dune buggy is poor a splendid memory.lol

Really like this car. Do you have any pictures of the citroen grill on the car i was wanting to do this a while back but didnt know what it would look like
  558. #558
Because I do not attach it, the Citroen grill does not have a photograph. I improve if I attach it.
i was wanting to do this a while back but didnt know what it would look like

It was the event of the European car, but there were few audiences under the influence of a typhoon on that day. I upload the car which gathered on the day.
