Try the SPlit V spark plugs or Bosch ones

    I really haven't a clue mate.
It was rebuilt about 2k ago, but I just want to do it for peace of mind

    any more advice?

I would go with NGK plugs - never had a problem with them. Oil - some fully synth. 5w40 have a look on oilmans recommendations in a sticky.

As far as I'm aware an oil filter is an oil filter.

silkolene oil mate as said above fully synthetic. An oil filter is pretty much an oil filter, NGK plugs or denso seem to be pretty good but pricey, you doing gear box oil and coolant aswel?
  7. #7
gearbox oil prob not, as I'm hoping to change the box very soon.
I was thinking of doing cooling system service and fuel filter also?

if you buy silkolene you normally get silkolene coolent free anyway mate, doubt you will need a fuel filter change if youve just had a engine rebuild

Its more for my piece of mind that I'm doing it though. i just feel if its easy I may aswell do it really.

got one coming I think, if I won the ebay auction.
I've had 4 saxos now. and three haynes manuals. should never have sold them when i sold the saxo lol

lol fuel filters something ive never done myself so havent got a clue mate sorry!
  13. #13
never done a saxo one either. Will be doing mine tommorow. Assuming its just undo hoseclip things and pull of the fuel lines either side of it, remove the filter, change it, and reattach the new filter.
