mesh grill?

    should i get a meshed grill if so what colour and debadged? whats everyones opinions? im going to spray some vts wheels white for the car too http://i39.tinypic.com/98vrdu.jpg

    meshed grill. Keep the chevrons and paint them white

    I meshed mine and painted chevrons whitet he other day. Transforms the front of the car. Was a pain cutting the mesh with kitchen scissors though!

    i used mesh from a disposable bbq for my grill fuck paying £25 per sheet at halfrauds, £2 bbq ftw

    a friend of mine has done the grille black with black mesh and colour coded chevrons i think it looks quite good tbh

    I just chopped the slats out and didnt bother wit mesh, looks gd easily seein the fan etc behind! Will cross the bridge of a nice big stone flyin up an takin the fan or rad out when it happens!!

    looks pretty much the same as williamanderson quoted, just took it off the bbq and cut in half, then put one half one side of the grille and the other the other side will upload a pic when im home, on my phone atm

    cheers got the mesh done sprayed the outer grill posi blue but do i sandwich the mesh between grill N the black back or put the mesh on the back wen its all together

    I cut up a old ironing board and used the mesh off tht for my grill lol, was a bit of hassle cutting the mesh off but it was better thn paying £25 and you cant even tell

    you put the mesh on the back of the grill, and bend the end bits around so it fits snug.. then your screws should go in the mesh holes so it holds it in place

    I deslatted my grill, sprayed the grill gloss black, and the chevrons gloss white

    I put the 2 halfs back together, and the mesh goes behind it, between the grill and the bonnet, sits flush, and looks great





    (yes i know, needs lowering)

    Dont forget to make a hole for the bonnet catch!

    cheers guys guna try again wen my new mesh arrives with my 45mm eibach"s got me a posi blue mk so wil put pics up in few weeks wen i get it all done,,cant belive its hard to fit mesh not good at doing stuff like this haha trial n error eh :-)

    ahaa well i messed it up didnt i.........tut so got new mesh and hopefully get it correct this time round,,bit gutted the mesh is smaller shape but hey spent enough on x2 sets so going to have to do
