    right guys..

i was recently on "carsurvey.org" reading up tryig to find any suggestions on how to add a few more BHP to my furio.

"If you want VTR power on a Furio, then you can get the cylinder head, cam and ECU from a VTR of the same year, and exchange it with your Saxo's, a straight fit, looks exactly the same so you would get away with not telling your insurance, and you get around 25hp extra"

    is this statement accurate??

and i don't really have the money to replace ECU or CAMs at the moment so i'd start wit getting VTR cylinder head (available on ebay) i was wondering if this was worth the money...or whether i could get away with vts cylinder heads?

    cheers

vts head wont fit, vtr head will but you wont get much power let alone 25 bhp, the power diffrence between them is down to bore stroke witch leads to cc incress
if you whant more power then use the vtr bottom end

Soooooooo much easier to just put a whole vtr lump in.

Yes they do look identicle and i doubt an insurance claim engineer would be able to tell the difference..

BUT, if you was to crash into me and you had an engineer that did know his arse from his elbow and found out you had a vtr engine undisclosed, your insurance would be void, you would be personaly liable and i would be seriously pissed that a technicaly uninsured driver hit me.

Get a clue and do it right

buy a vtr. Changing head/cams or to a vtr engine is Not really worth it imo, Whats wrong with it as it is?
