Do a search buddy this gets asked quite alot, I believe you have to change the interior loom aswell, better off looking for a vts engine you can pick them up for a couple of hundred pounds now,
I have a 3plug vts ecu and loom if your interested

Youll need the interior loom, driveshafts and the rest is the same as a normal conversion.

you could drop your lom round the 3 plug motor and use your origonal ecu i think
i know you can on the 16v so you should be able to on the 8v

Yeh youd just have a few sensors missing. Or you can get your loom adapted visa versa.

why would he need to change shafts? they have nothing to do with the engine.

thought ya had to change the shafts from tapered n all that on mk1 n mk2's couse theyre different? i dont know couse i aint had to. Read on conversion guides u have to.
