this will of been asked a thousand times and if i werent at work i`d trawl thru the threads, but.

Where does the law stand on replacing my whole exhaust (1.4i Furio) and losing the cat, is there any running problems (IE: sensors) with losing the cat, how about MOT after the cat is gone.
Again sorry for repeating a question, but i`m been watched lolololol

there are no running problems but it wont pass MOT so i would suggest a setup where you can replace a straigt true pipe with a cat under the car and not in the mani.

you need to cap the second lambda so the engine management light doesnt come on. it wont pass an mot and if a police man has a look and doesnt see a cat he may punish you for it

Lol thats what i did i think his name was ummm ahh Tim lmao

Just take it to an MOT place that seems dodgey and slip them £15, should then pass no prob.

when i went to get my MOT he was half way through testing it and said you do know this wont pass the emissions test....... turns out he didnt even test it and just made up the figures lmao.

i take it its massive diference performance wise losing the Cat (hate the bloody things anyway), plus i know they sound way better straight thru. just the stop check thing thats bugging me, if i did, i would lolololol.... but i bet just replacing the pipe from the cat back dosent really improve anything, except a bit noiseyer. seem pointless to be honest, unless i drop the cat ...hmmmmmmm, bloody goverment
