oh rite cheerz. so im lookin for a 106, model-rallye gearbox? i heard that 1.1 gearbox gd? cheerz mate

1.1 has a non sports gear set, so the rev drop between gears won't be ideal, plus has a smaller diff. so you'll have to change your passenger side driveshaft for a non-vt* one iirc.

oh rite ok so im lookin for a 106, model-rallye gearbox, is it direct fit ?
  8. #8
    yes - bolt straight on.

Might need to change over the speed sensor but it's one bolt.

I think it would cost a bit to deliver - I'd be nervous about sending it when there are peopl local to me that want it.

IMO you should just keep your eyes open for one nearer to you.

Try to not use text talk, gear ratios.
  18. #18
oh rite ok. wats best then longer or shorter gear ratios? x

Shorter for acceleration or longer for more top speed but stick to the standard box on the vts anyway.
