   ok, will a mk1 vts front bumper fit on a standard 1.1?
   
   ive seen a picture of one so i was wondering.
   
   any help would great cheers

   i think it is a direct replacment ( as long as it is the same ie. mk1 or mk2, or it matbe one fits all ) should be a safe bet as people have put a full vtr kit on a 1.1

   it fits fine but without the arches its gonna stick out a bit at the sides! Someone on here managed to pull those bits in and pulled it off

   its doesnt matter about whether its a mk1 or mk2. the bumper on my car is from a mk1 and its a mk2 car.
   
   and to anwer your question yes it will fit but the vt bumper is wider so it will stick out a bit

   u couldnt i dont think... u cant shrink it so its going to be wider unless you but the vt kit on it?

   you can fit it as im going to. but it requires somthing drilling to pull it in, a cupole of pepole have done it,

   i take it fitting the bumper is the same for the mk1 as it is for mk2?

    yeah mk1 and mk2 bumpers the same, as far as know you can fit the rear bumper but theres no way of making it pull in so it would stick out and look abit odd
