read thru that, might help.
80 is abit steep unless its thru his work, if hes doing it himself then id expect to pay alot less as its easy to service a saxo tbh... -
#3£80 sounds about right if somebody else is doing the work for you. Its less obviously if you do it yourself.
And if 5w40 is what most suggest, fully synthetic costs more but is better oil. But semi will work fine. -
#4well considering kwik fit want £74 for a basic service and £100 + for a full service.... £80 i thought seemed very reasonable lol .. he will check EVERYTHING though lol ! hes not like, half a job joe... he will do it all.

#5why dont you just do it yourself, its a piece of piss to service a car! fuck paying labour costs to some one else. a full service including good oil, engine flush, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, new plugs can be done for under £60
-
#6Assuming he's providing all good quality parts (oil, oil filter, plugs, air filter if not induction already on, and fuel filter) then £80 is halfway reasonable.
For "mates rates" it's fairly poor imo -
#7you supply the bits I'll do it for £30
