mk1 cat

   hi guys really wanna do something with me cat, mate told me i could get all the shit out of me cat with a jemmy bar of some sort, no what i was wondering was about the engine management light, would that come on if the cat is underneath the car and the lambda sensor is built into the downpipe? its on my westcoast 99 mk1 have any of you guys done it and its okay? i can get another cat of a mate for m.o.t matters cheers

   dunno about the westie mate but mine fine with no cat......mine is 99' vtr cat was under the car!!

   im sure it will be the same, just engine size is different, did you do this with your cat then mate?

   mk chavs, just buy a decat pipe, dont trash your old cat, you'll want it come mot time. you can probably pick up the pipe for £25-30

   i got a stainless steel sports cat on my vts if u want 2 spend silly money on a cat lol sounds quiet gd wen u hit 3 and half rpm lol
