yes thats what that is a cituning manifold and ive had no problems. der cheap compared to most but do the job...

hmm the long steel pipe with the dump valve on it goes to a intercooler wich goes to a turbo. wich gets fed through another steel pipe going to the induction this is why it looks long aha...

are you looking at these pis or what??

    Just behind the light mate

couldn't really find a good place to mount it away from manifold and rad (lots of heat)

Seen lots of people mount an open cone filter behind the headlight so thats where it is.

seems to work well to me

remove the passenger side fog light and run it that way, or another way is moreetes with the lamp removed. you will still be getting alot of heat soak with the cold feed there. i hope this helps

clubbz whats the fitment like with your raceland enclosed induction kit? is it a nice fit? or did you have to hack bits and pieces and add extensions hare and there?
  175. #175
Ive messaged you back but just to let other people know aswell i did not have to hack at anything to get it to fit only thing i needed to do was cable tie the far right drilled hole to the car as you can see on the picture just to stop rattling and vibration
And youll need a oil breather or a thicker hose to get it on to the raceland filter but i just decided to use a vent filter as it makes the engine bay look alot neater

  180. #180
The one above is like the one with the raceland. You need to block the breather holes in the induction kit if your not using them. I couldn't see the raceland one, i just couldn't see any obvious blanking

what paint are people using for the cam covers? or are you all getting them powdercoated?
  285. #285
I used Hammerite but the quality isnt that brilliant tbh. Saying that, it was a half arsed DIY job
  286. #286
does it have to be high temp stuff? the plastic bit between the cam covers does that get hot to?
  287. #287

Hi mate, if you are talking about the actual cam covers them selves then you can use normal spray paint but give it plenty of layers of colour and clear coat or it wont last due to the heat. The plastic coil cover can also be done the same way. It isnt that expensive to get them done proffessionaly though around £20 -£30 per coverand will look much better, trust me!

cool cheers, its more to do with getting a quite good match for rim tape colour to keep the theme going I've been in touch with paints4u to see about getting a match to the vinyl so if normal paint will do I'll go that route i think, I've purchased a smoothed plastic bit from the for sale section on here, and I'm gonna do something to the e-tech brace to carry on the theme.

Thank you all for the compliments

In excess of 400bhp. But I'm not focused on the number it makes - the rolling road I use (track and road) is whats known as a heartbreaker dyno - you don't go there to make pub figures, you go there to go fucking fast

Few people i know have had that issue too ross
most got rid of the brace i think

I went over to the sparco brace which goes across thw back of the bay

  344. #344
it does rub on the covers, have had an idea to move brace back slightly so it wont rub anymore. to be honest tho it doesnt make any noise at all, car vibrates enough i dont notice it lol
  345. #345
Mine was shocking - perhaps because of the solid engine mounts. I tried everything I could think of including raising it up on washers a little all to no avail. Eventually I just sacked it off and bought a roll cage Best solution!

i made the slam panel as when i did away with the std latch in the centre it looked odd, like something was missing, (obviously haha) then made a flaring tool to go across the top, yeah its a bit of weight saving but tbh i think it just looks cool!!

engine bay is still in red oxide from being took back to bare metal (along with all the arches + underside) heater matrix holes have been welded up along with other unused holes its now being wired so once thats done i can strip it back to a bare shell, get it all blasted and then send it to be painted..
