changing standard mk2 vtr grill

   is it possible to change the standard mk2 grill into a "smiley" one and if so how do you do it. do you have to do a lot of cutting. can you keep the badge on and mesh the rest if you understand what im mean??? Are there any other ways to make the standard (bonnet) grill look better. please let us know if you've done it or got any pics of any at all as im stuck on what to do.

   There are a few options, you can mesh and leave the chevrons like you said, see this guide:

   Or you can buy a debadged grill new and spray it the right colour:
