customizing standard headlights

    im sure ive seen it done before....

    can anyone tell me if theres a way of taking the glass out and spraying the silver part black?

    Put the headlights into the oven until the glue melts enough that you can get a knive through the glue and separate them that way. Then take the insert out and spray it..then put the headlights back in the oven until the glue melts a bit and put them back together.. wrap duck tape round them to hold it together til the glue sets. Bingo bango job done .

    so was i right when i said its been done before?

    isit really worth the hassle? does it make a big difference to looks?

    Its been done by loads of people but makes the car look that we bit tidier. I say go for it.

    i dont have a oven , soo could it be done in a microwave?? lol i no it sounds silly but the place i live in dosnt allow ovens, so how long in a microwave??

    TBH honest I wouldn`t do it in a microwave as it heats things differently to an oven & I can imagine disaster looming
