Saxo VTR Alloys

  1. #1
    Hi guys..

I have a Silver MK2 VTR and its pretty much standard at the moment apart from a few bits. I want to get new alloys and I was wondering if you guys have any ideas of which ones I could get. I dont really want VTR/VTS alloys in black because everyone seems to have them.

    Appreciate the help. Thanks!

if you don't want black then maybe try a dark graphite/anthracite colour? think you'd have to go darker if you're going to change - white looks crap on a silver car imo

I meant, I dont want black VTR or VTS alloys. But are there any other black alloys that would look nice? Thanks mate

sorry my fault for not reading the original post properly. team dynamics do some stuff that looks good in black - pro race 1.2's or similar are nice imo

Thanks mate. I had a look at team dynamics and they do look pretty nice. Does anyone have any pictures with them fitted on a saxo?

I found these 2 and they look pretty nice too. What are they called or where can I find them?

    Thanks.

I want to lower my car 40/50mm. What size alloys should I get? 15 or 16 inch?
Also I dont want to lose comfort so how much should I lower? Would 50mm lose a bit of comfort? Cheers guys.

I think it depends how your doing it. If its just springs then even a 30mm drop will affect comfort. But the full kit will more comfortable and the springs will be working with the correct dampers etc.

Is there a guide on here to lower it the proper way without affecting comfort? Cheers mate.

i'd just pay to get someone to do it for you. Torsion bars can be a night mare if ceased. Think you looking at about £100-£150 mark for labour. As i suggested i'd get the full suspension kit too
