front lights

    hi i was wondering if anyone could help me, i seen a friend for the first time in a long while and his saxo had blacked out front lights, he said he didnt buy or paint them,he put them in the oven, i was just checking to see if anyone else has done this and if so is there a link in the forum on how to do it, or could anyone give me some information on how to do it, also is it healthy to do it, because i wont try if it can wreck my lights.... cheers

    you can use hairdryer/heat gun

    that heat gun link doesnt work, i think it must be for premium accounts, yeah i got a heat gun like, is it the same process as if you were treating you bump strips with one? or do you need to sand it down or rough it up at all?

    take clips off around the lights
    then heat up all the glue, slowly prise be careful tho you can crack the lense,
    then when seperated the insert will pull out,
    sand/prime/spray
    put insert back in, heat glue up, place lense back and hold til glue sets, then place clips back on
    and its done
