Black/Smoked Mk1 Headlights

   Is it possible to make mk1 headlights black on the inside? I know you can smoke em to an extent on the outside but just wanting to know if any1 has done it? Would like them done like that for a tenner rather than pay £100+ for angels at this time of year.
