mesh mk1 grill

   is there a how to guide for meshing a mk1 grill , cant seem to find one

   Undo 3 13mm bolts on the top of the grille
   
   Take out the indicators as there is a clip under them
   
   To get the indicator out, look down behind it, there is a push down clip you press and it should slide out. Be careful not to snap the clip
   
   Take off the white clips under both indicators
   
   The grille should slide out, there are sliders that slide into slots on the headlights, should come straight out though
   
   Take off the middle bit of the grille, cut out an appropriate sized bit of mesh and tigerseal on
   
   Job done!

   that guide says it can only be done if its a "smily" grill . whats the diference :|

   a smilie grill is like mine check my progess thread its the mk1 with a minor face lift like a year before they made the mk2

    If the facelift mk1 Grille Is a direct fit I'm gunna buy one for my '96 Saxo and then mesh It

    meshed the grill today , was rather easy, thought it was gna be alot harder
