Think youve been scammed? REPORT THIS!

    All,

Unfortunately the number of cases of scam reports is increasing (again). Whilst we have simple guidelines in place to stop you from being scammed, unfortunately this often does not seem to help!?

I've setup a new sub-forum to try to collate information about suspected scammers, to make it easier to investigate. Please do NOT take the law into your own hands. Let the police deal with this! I've moved a few scammer related threads into this new forum. If you are aware of other threads that contain useful information, that may help in an investigation, please ask a moderator to move this thread into the new forum too!

    >>> Suspected Scammer Info Forum <<<

If you feel you have been scammed, you SHOULD report this to the police. As I have said a number of times, unfortunately I am not able to provide you with any direct information about a Saxperience member (email address, postal address, etc, etc) due to the data protection act. However, I am more than happy to provide ANY information to the police to help stop this awful situation.

I have provided information to the police on 'suspected scammers' a number of times, but I think atlast, we are getting somewhere.

If you genuinely feel you have been scammed, please report this to your local police station, but make reference to the information below, so that the cases can be linked together (should they be linked).

    Together, lets stop the scammers!

If you have been victim to this, please report this to your local police station and provide them with a statement, and include as much detail as possible:-

    - the bank accounts details money was sent to,
    - name/address of the person selling the item,
    - mobile phone numbers involved,
    - receipts for money paid into the Halifax
    - anything else relating to the fraud

Some users have sent money through Paypal and have received a refund. These people STILL need to report the incident to the police as this was an attempt to obtain money for car parts.

When reporting to your local station, please get them to forward the statement/details to PC 3484 DRAYCOTT, Ripley, Derbyshire Police

There are a large number of victims, and the more that report it the better the case will be.

    Hi,

You need to report your own details to your LOCAL station. It may be useful to add the case details above into your statement so that the details can be linked together.

The officer who has shared details above is only investigating cases occurring in his local region.
