Just need to know

Right just saw the electric supercharger thread and read the thread about why not to get one but will this work, not to gain power but just improve air flow?

HA !! If you read the page then you will realise why it wouldnt, your going down the road at say 50mph with air rushing in, do you think a computer fan will make a difference to your air flow?

    not a chance mate

It's not the supercharger, it creates a vortex air flow to improve air & fuel mixture. Surely this could help mpg

the amount of air air going into your engine i would imaging this would be restrictive if anything, honestly mate its a waste of money and you would get better air flow with a enclosed induction with a air duct, or even a cone filter with a heat guard with an air duct.

    just simply no

no and had a lot off people telling me theres burnt put and cought fire

I cant get ebay on the works computer so can't see what it is but, does it have a motor or is it driven by the air flowing past the fan?

Either way i can't see it doing much good tbh. The TB is designed to create the optimum airflow anyway! And if the fan is driven by the airflow past it then surely it would restrict the air entering the TB.

Appologies if I'm talking about completely the wrong thing here!

If it was beneficial to have a "vortex" in the induction system it would be used on standard systems. Most manufactuers spend millions developing air systems for cars, they may looked bodged (and on some cars they are, some dont spend much atall), but on nearly all mainstream cars and certainly on the sports Saxo/106 models the induction systems are actually very well tuned and though out.

Its not just about getting masses of air to the engine at all times, its more complex than that.
