Get a pic up of your car mate

    imo, gloss black looks nice

Seems a bit high price (in my opinion) but they may be good at what they do so that may be why. As for the colour it's upto you.. depends on what colour theme you're going with. If you plan on putting white wheels then black gloos bumpstrips all round wont look right

see i was going to go for the black wheels smoked side repeater and rear and slightly smpked headlights, also thinking i myt black vynal the roof. oh and black wheels (wel its a body repair shop and they take on private jobs such as this they mentiond somethig about haveing to cover all th bits in plastersizer b4 painting aswell.

I think the price sounds about right. I think I paid between £200 and £300.

I'm in two minds about when people colour code because the black does look good as it breaks up the bulk of the main car colour. For example... if you keep the black strips and go for black wheels, then it will look good The car above does look good... especially as the car has white wheels.

I feel the same about silver Saxo's colour coded. I think they should keep the black strip and go for anthracite/black wheels.

All depends on your colour coding but i'd go with the same colour as my wheels to break up the bulk of the car.

I had my old VTS colour coded but with it being black, it looked good. Well I think so anyway. Haha!

IMO, if your going to spray certain bits black, i would go for glossblack plastics jsut to stick with the theme, but obviously its your choice. Go for what you think you want

Fair play that is mint and looks like it has had a few hours of hard work polishing up that bodywork.

If you are going to do that then go for it. Looks like alot of polishing has gone into that.

Did you do the strips at the top of your bumpers yourself or get a bodyshop to do them? That's how I want mine to look and I don't mind doing the door strips myself but thinking it's going to take a long time to do the bumpers - just wondering what you thought?

That car is nice. The black/blue work very well together and with the black wheels, the rub strips HAD to be left and then painted black But... it's far too shiny for my liking, but that's just me

I went on holiday for 7-10 days and I dropped the car off at a bodyshop who did the front bumper strip, the rear bumper strip, the two side rub strips and the plastic on the wing mirrors all for around £300-£350. I never did anything on my own car... apart from the minor cosmetic modifications, but anything that I thought I'd f*ck up would be taken to a garage But... I had money to do that then
