black headlights

   hi im wanting to darken the inside of my headlights, not on the reflectors though. However how would you get to them with the glass cover in the way? also what would i use to blacken them? Im wanting to do this cos i want to wire some r8 style spot lights in them
   
   is there a tutorial for both blackening the headlights and installing r8 style spotlights?
