so i'm looking for a decent coilover kit...basically i found this one as i dont know how low i want my saxo to look. what do you guys think about this kit? is it any good?

btw i'm half way through fitting a vt kit to my 1.5D saxo, will post some pics when done

so read quite a lot of badly reviews about vmaxx, so now i'm considering either the apex sports suspension kit -35mm drop or the -50mm drop. the car is for daily use and i live in Malta where its more bumps and potholes than good road...

whats your opinion on what kit to get?

lol dont lower it mate if you got a lot of bumps around ur area lol, is there many sax's in malta ?

there are lots of saxos but none modified, just normal use. there are like 2 vts's and maybe just maybe say 10 vtr's. i have 1.5D doing the full vt kit and i'm thinking about 40mm drop on front and the rear i need to check when i put the vt arches on because it would leave a big gap from the tyres to the arch.

You will get away with a 40mm drop if you use descent parts

    so its either this

    or this

which one do you think drops the car height enough? i want it to sit low but you know...not low enough to not being able to get in my garage

that vmaxx set up is pretty rubbish if it only lowers 65mm, id much rather spend my money on a good set of springs and shocks

thx jeffchiz, i'm gonna buy some spaxx 40mm front just to get a nicer look and the rear dunno by how much as i have to cut for the rear arches to fit from flat arch to vt ones. so there will be a bigger gap to fill

yea your right there will be a massive gap between the arch and wheel at the back when you start cutting the metal to fit the vt arches, on my car i am 60mm at the front and 65mm at the back so ive gone down 5mm further on the back which levels it out so on your car id be tempted to go about 40mm at the front and 60mm at the back
the spax kit will be so much better than the vmaxx ones, or even the apex kit from kamracing
