a little confused

   right now then i have a 2000 w reg vtr a silver top with a single plug ecu i was looking at a manifold so had a quick peak at my oil filter and was wondering
   
   is this what a mk2 filter (the one which is the problem looks like in this thread)http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87713
   
   because i have just a metal filter attached to the block does this mean i have a mk1 filter already? (looks like when he is finished with the conversion)

   You have a MK1 oil filter. This means that you would not need to 'Re-locate' the oil filter in order to fit some exhaust manifolds.

   If you have a metal filter attached to the block then yeah that means it wont have to be moved to fit the raceland.
