Mate I'll be home Thursday/Friday/Sat/Sun so can always try them on my car quickly ?
  3. #3
i have a feeling you will be needing 3mm spacers at least.
  4. #4
ok kwl, 3mm is nothing... Just want to know so can get a spacer kit before i attempt to fit once ive got some!
  5. #5
Scott I tried mine with 3mm spacers against a vts rim and there was a pubic hairs clearance
  6. #6
Yeh you need Spacers. Find vtr-tec progress thread, should be some info on there when he had them over hispecs.

Kwl, il buy some ready!! : D Most kits come with longer bolts but i'll need flat washer long bolts if that makes sense, anyone know a place to get some?
  9. #9
Looks like may be 7mm spacers with a stud and nut conversion!
  10. #10
If you can hang off buying anything until you can try mine on Thursday - I'm sure there's some 2x 4mm spacers in the garage can try and see exactly what spacers you need !

Yea ok mate.. will need to sort out longer bolts or studs too!
  12. #12
Il give him a text to confirm theyre 7mms.
  13. #13
He said 10mm on extended bolts!

Just said you can get away with 7mm too though.
  14. #14
Awsome.. cheers for that. If you speak/txt him again, ask him where he got his extended flat bolts (rather than tapered) from (I did just pm him so dont worry to much!)

  16. #16
Aw right.. yeah but most stud conversions or extended wheel bolts are tapered.. il need extended flat nuts/bolts for my 205 gti alloys!

Not sure on the quality tbh ?

Mine seems fine with hubcentric 21mm spacers
  22. #22
Yeah,, just spotted them... now just need x4 hubcentric 10mm spacers..
  23. #23
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WOLFRACE-15MM-...item4a9df8b769

bit wide though and look to have tapered bolts - worth popping a question across to them ?
  24. #24
Dont want to go made, i want smallest spacers i can use and its flat bolts i need not tapered
  25. #25
    how about this ?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10mm-spacer-ki...item45ead09cdf

and asking for flat seat nuts ?
  26. #26
    Dont think there hubcentric?

Should be fine with a set of normal spacers for 7-10mm as would still have some lip of the hub to locate in the wheel ?

Worth measuring up to see how much?
