Mk1 to Mk2 Dials

    is it possible to do? / easy? i have a Mk1 1.1, but really want the Blue Dials as on the Mk2's after the mod, i have the LED's etc to do it..
    just thought i'd check before i head to a scrappys and grab 1

    yes it is, theres a guide on 106 owners and i put one together on here aswell.

    blue dials? there from mk1's. mk2 dials are all white

    I think he means Blue Led dials.

    yeah sorry, it's worded pretty awfully atm lol...

    in the Mk1 they have a green filter on the clock face, so i cant get the colour from Green to Blue,
    the Mk2's however have a white Clock Face with a clear filter so i can replace the LED's to get a Blue colour coming through...

    maybe a silly question here but will the rev counter work? because my dials just have the speedometer and the clock :/ lol

    I dont think it would work straight off however you can run a wire from the ECU (not sure where it goes) to the corresponding pin on the clocks to get it to work. I think thats how someone on here did it.

    yeah it has been done before, not sure how, i thought the loom and everything was already there they just plugged in the new clocks

    Would this be easier to do with my mk1 vtr, as I allready have the rev counter??
