pretty easy tbh, but if you have little experiance with cars then get someone to help you or get a garage to do the work tbh

You have to turn the car upside down, and insert the wishbone. Then use hand made bolts to secure it.

Pretty simple, Just more fiddly than difficult.
Will need a ball joint splitter (Think that's what it is called) to get the ball joint out of the strut, That was the most awkward part when I did mine, then it's just 1 bolt and 2 nuts in the footwell.

Loosen the clamp on the strut, to remove i just used a hammer from above the wishbone, and the same to get in, bit of lube in there slides right in.

It isnt a ball joint that you have to fit, thats already on the wishbone, its more of a pin that you have to fit to the strut. Just a fat one.

If you aint got the wishbone already or seen one then this is what you have to remove and refit, its fairley easy:

dont you have to pull up the carpet to get to the 2 bolts?

you dont have to touch the balljoint if youre getting a wishbone with one already in!

The jobs really easy, offering up the new one is fiddly though. I ended up attaching it to the bottom of the strut first, then jacking the strut up so the 2 bolts under the footwell went in easier.

Buy a new bolt for the balljoint but use the old one to hammer in and line the balljoint up if that makes sense?

tbh mate, if your not confident in doing it yourself i would suggest you get a garage to fit it for you, because if something goes wrong they will have to sort it for u at their cost not yours. Most places will only charge £30 an hour and should take anywhere between 30mins and 1 1/2 hours to fit.

yeah fuck it ... garage jobby it is

    i used the old bolt...

good choice m8, at least if its not fitted correctly thn u will know where to go to get it sorted.
